Camping in Moab

Last week we went on a short--but very fun--camping trip to Moab! After I finished my finals for the semester we drove south about four hours and found us a camping spot for just one night. The next day we went into the Canyonlands National Park and looked around for a bit before heading home.
Here is Kyncade enjoying a view point along I-70:


There was a sweet little shop by a gas station with all kinds of doo-dads and trinkets we stopped in just outside of Moab. They had oh-so-very authentic looking tee pee's (how is that spelled?) out front which we felt the urge to photograph ourselves with. Here is Native American Kyncade:

We each got out own snack in the little shop aformentioned. Mine was this sweet peanut butter chocolate chex mix pictured below! It sounds weird...But it was quite tasty. Notice the southern Utah terrain in the background of the picture:

Here was our camping spot where we roasted hot dogs and enjoyed the stars. We were excited about our sweet view from our spot.


Once we made it into Canyonlands, the first place we visited was the Mesa Arch. You can't tell in these pictures, but it truly was incredible! Canyonlands was so gorgeous!
